CALIFORNIA NATURALIST: DISCOVERY. ACTION. STEWARDSHIP. The California Naturalist Handbook provides a fun, science-based introduction to Californias natural history with an emphasis on observation, discovery, communication, stewardship and conservation.

The Council of Mexican Federations in North America (COFEM) in Coachella, and their partner CactusToCloud Institute, are proud to offer the UC California Naturalist Program in collaboration with UCR Palm Desert Center and UC Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Butte Environmental Councils Climate Stewards course will focus on community climate action projects. Speakers from many local organizations will be featured during weekly class meetings, and weekend field trips will occur providing a chance for hands-on learning.
