Open Garden Days 

Open Garden Days 

251 South Barretta St., Sonora 

First Saturday of the month (Feb- Nov)  

10:00am – 1:00pm 

Open Garden Days are an opportunity to roam the Garden, watch what we are doing, find out what we are growing, attend a demonstration and ask questions about your garden and landscape.  

Demonstrations start about 10:30am. Topics are listed in the Event Calendar. 

Each event features: 

  • An information table to help with your plant problems or mysterious pests.
  • Demonstrations– usually begin around 10:30 am. Monthly topics are listed on the event calendar
  • Some events include Plant Sales- See event calendar for dates and come early for the best selection! 

*Open Garden Days are usually held the first Saturday of the Month*

The Demonstration Garden is located at 251 So.Barretta Street in Sonora, (Cassina High School Campus) and will be open from 10am to 1pm. Activities will begin at 10:30 am. There is no cost to attend Open Garden Day or to tour the garden.

Master Gardener Information Booths

Sonora Certified Farmers Market

Every Saturday morning through October, the Sonora Certified Farmers Market is in session downtown from 7:30 to 11:30 am. The Master Gardeners have a booth next to the Almonds. Please feel free to stop by and visit them and discuss any questions or comments you may have. They will be happy to talk with you about your gardening experiences!

Farmory at Columbia Airport

Master Gardeners have an information booth at the the Farmory at Columbia Airport!! The Farmory is open every Wednesday and Saturday all year, from 11-5, and Master Gardeners are there from 11am to 3pm. Bring your questions, and if we don’t have the answer we’ll find out and get the information back to you!!
