Master Food Preserver volunteers are passionate about teaching their community about safe home food preservation techniques through workshops and classes, demonstrations, county fairs and events, websites, blogs, print and social media.
Training programs to become a Master Food Preserver are offered every other year. Training classes begin in January and are a mix of online and in-person labs.
