Returning Youth Members

Welcome back to the new 4-H year!

If you are a current 4-H member under 18, your parent or guardian can renew your membership in 4-H Online. See the 4-H Online 2.0 Family Enrollment Guide.

Steps to Enroll a Returning 4-H Youth Member:

Step 1: Update membership information in 4-H Online

Update enrollment. Select the "Enroll Now" for the renewing member.

Update personal information. Make sure all of your personal information is up to date, including email address. Email is the primary way you will receive communications outside of club and project meetings.

Update your 4-H participation. The system will automatically upload all club/unit and project information from the previous year.  Please remove any clubs/units or projects that you will not be participating in this year and add any new clubs/units or projects that you will participate in this year.

Step 2: Submit your program fees.

Program fees can be paid online using a credit card or you may pay by check directly to your Club/Unit Leader Volunteer at a club meeting.

Contra Costa County 4-H 2022-2023 Youth Member Enrollment Fees are $155 if paid with a credit card online -OR- $150 if paid by check directly to the club/unit.

Fee Waivers/Reductions are available.  Complete the Request for 4-H Program Fee Waiver/Reduction form and return to the County 4-H Office for processing.

Step 3: Get activated.

Once the county 4-H office reviews the club/unit’s enrollments that have been paid, they will activate your enrollment and you will receive an email from the 4-H Online system, sent to the family email account listed in 4-H Online that confirms your enrollment status as Active.

Once your membership is active, you can start participating in 4-H events and activities!
