Creating a header

There are many options built into Sitebuilder 3.0 to help you enhance your website's header. Once you have created your website, you can simply visit the "Site Info & Appearance" link from your dashboard and click the "Launch Designer" button to gain access to several enhancement features. There are two site designs you can choose from, each with a different header treatment. Design One features a full-width image with the site name placed above the image:

Design Two superimposes the site name over the left side of the image:

Both of these designs use live text (which is searchable) and a graphic image file. This ensures consistency with ANR online accessibility guidelines.

Custom headers

If your website is incompatible with our standard header options, you can request a custom header for your website for an internal charge of $50. We advise against creating a custom header, however, and encourage you to use one of the two standard header designs, which are consistent with the ANR Strategic Vision Brand. We do recognize, though, that in some cases (such as the American Society of Agronomy's website, below), a unique header is necessary.
