How your regional community educator can help:

Educators provide one-on-one support, farm visits, workshops, and educational programs tailored to the needs of small-scale farmers in their region. Regional educators can…

  • Explain how SGMA is being implemented in your area
  • Conduct farm visits and provide one-on-one support for groundwater technical issues on your farm
  • Provide up to date information on groundwater policies and implementation programs in your region
  • Connect you with local groundwater resources and partners
  • Provide referrals for groundwater technical services
  • Share information about workshops, funding opportunities, and local meetings

Technical service referrals may include groundwater monitoring, aquifer testing, pump repairs, groundwater impact analysis, and other groundwater-related services.

Regional Resources

We are currently building a collection of region-specific groundwater resources. Please check back for updates. In the meantime, your regional community educator can help connect you with relevant resources and support.
