About the Event
While autumn brings a reduction in some garden pests, there are ways to reduce future problems by careful observation today. Come learn basic concepts and seasonal focuses for the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to garden pests.
UC Master Gardener Presenter: Barbara Cohrssen has been a Master Gardener since 2007. She is a certified industrial hygienist who has been self employed for over 30 years. Barbara has spent the last 20 years editing multi-volume books on toxicology and occupational health and safety. Prior to self employment, Barbara worked as a ceramic engineer, special librarian, and environmental engineer. She spends her free time upgrading her small garden in northeast San Francisco, walking her dog and various volunteer activities.
