On May 3, 2025, we'll be hosting our annual plant sale, a favorite home gardeners' event, where you can get vegetable starts for your spring planting. From vibrant tomatoes to piquant peppers—we'll have dozens of veggie varieties available for $4 each!
All proceeds support the public education programs of the UC Master Gardeners of Alameda County to promote home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscaping
We are excited to announce the new location for this year's plant sale—Oakland! In partnership with Oakland Unified School District's (OUSD) Earth Day Celebration, the plant sale will be hosted at The Center at 2850 West St. in Oakland.
The sale will be in-person only (no pre-ordering like in previous years), waiting for you to discover a cornucopia of delights to elevate your garden. Join us for children's activities, garden facility tours, and more!
In the meantime, it's a great time to check out our plant catalog, plan your garden or prepare your soil.

Location: The Center—2850 West St, Oakland, CA 94608. Park on the street, enter at the pedestrian gate on 29th Street. The Center is accessible by public transportation.
