The 2027 Calendar and Gardening Guide with the theme “Let's Garden Together” examines how community is fostered through gardening. Some the articles include growing roses, attracting pollinators, and producing delicious fruit. Gardeners are encouraged to consider the impact that we have on the communities that surround us - our neighbors of all ages, and other local garden enthusiasts – as we make choices about what and where to plant. Gardening practices encouraged within the calendar are those recommended by the UC Master Gardener Program.
NOTE: This calendar is suitable for climate zones from California's Central Valley to the foothills. For other climate zones modify the tips as needed to adapt to your area's growing conditions.
