Ag In the Classroom- 4-H School Enrichment Program

Ag in the Classroom

Ag in the Classroom is a 4-H School Enrichment Program coordinated with school personnel. It uses selected 4-H learning materials and California Ag in the Classroom curriculum as part of the school day. Sessions involve hands-on activities led by 4-H Youth Development Program staff, volunteers, and teachers.

In the 2018-19 school year, nearly 700 students and 10 teachers at four schools and two Head Start programs participated in hands-on projects including Embryology, Butterfly Pavilions, Ladybug Land, and Praying Mantis.
