Committee Function-
Purpose of the Incentives & Recognition Committee:
The purpose of the Incentives & Recognition Committee is to reinforce the motivation of members to participate, create and achieve in the 4-H Youth Development Program (YDP); and to underscore a sense of belonging valued in the 4-H YDP community.
Responsibilities of the Incentives & Recognition Committee include:
* Address the needs of teenage 4-H members- (provide incentives to remain in 4-H)
* Ambassador Program- (application process, selection of evaluators, implementation of program)
* Emerald & Ruby Star Program- (application process, implementation of program)
*Record Book Education and Evaluation
* Scholarships
* 4-H Events that present Awards- (Evaluation of awards systems in place)
* Address any concerns regarding awards- grievances
Committee Members-
Every club is encouraged to have representation on the I & R Committee.
Members include adult volunteers and youth members.
