Come meet us in the garden at the Farm + Food Lab for a discussion of one of the easiest and versatile methods of preserving Dehydration. Learn how to use kitchen items you already have and see what is available to up your drying game.

Go beyond dill pickles! Many other vegetables and fruits can become a pickled or fermented product, without canning to be enjoyed in the short term, or canned for a shelf-stable product for year-round enjoyment.

Details: 9am-12pm Pickling workshop. Learn about growing your own vegetables and make dill carrot pickles to take home. 1pm-4pm Fermentation workshop. Learn about the importance of soil health in the garden, and make your own sauerkraut. $25 each session, or $40 for both.

Make Sauerkraut at this in-person, hands-on class. When: Wednesday, March 20. Two sessions, choose one: 10 AM till Noon 2 till 4 PM Fee: $30 for you and up to 2 guests.

Does the thought of using a pressure canner scare you? It shouldnt! Learn how a pressure canner works and the multiple safety features included on every modern canner. Build your confidence in pressure canning by watching several mini-demonstrations and compare a variety of canner types.
