9am -12pm Learn about growing citrus and make your own lemon curd. 1pm - 4pm Learn about growing grapes, and learn to make grape jelly to take. $25 for one session, or $40 for both. Registration required as space is limited. Click here to register.

A regular workday at the demo garden on Thursdays, 11am to 1pm. The gate will indeed be open and members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the garden and ask for advice. There will be public demos and plant sales. Share in garden produce, free seed exchange and local gardening advice.

Come out to the beautiful and educational Sherwood Demonstration Garden to learn the benefits of summer fruit tree pruning: what to prune in the summer vs winter, the reasoning, creating fruitful trees, and more.

Come to Rancho Santa Margarita Library to learn ways to preserve your fresh citrus fruit. The UC Master Food Preservers will demonstrate how to make candied orange peel and an orange simple syrup. You will also see how to create middle eastern preserved lemons and a lemon salt.

Too many lemons, limes or mandarins? In this final event in the preserving citrus series, learn how to make some more citrus treats and then how to utilize some of the previously covered preserved products in everyday dishes.

The Yorba Linda Public Library, partnering with the Master Food Preservers will teach and discuss the basics, process and some of the sciences of fermentation. Presentation will include discussions on equipment, food safety and fermented foods in general.
