PalmArbor, an international electronic journal published periodically, includes articles on the identification, taxonomy, nomenclature, selection, propagation, and landscape management, including pests, diseases, disorders, nutrition, irrigation, pruning, and other aspects of landscape management, of palms, trees, and other woody plants. Content will be of interest to botanists, horticulturists, arborists, nurserymen, and landscape managers, designers, and architects. Articles are popular and/or technical in nature; a peer-review track is available. PalmArbor has an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN 2690-3245) and each published article has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number. Contact the Editor-in-Chief to submit articles or for other information.
Special Note: The University of California is pushing to have all on-line content meet ADA and WCAG accessibility standards. For years 2024 through 2026, all published articles in PalmArbor with one exception meet these accessibility standards. During this time, we have remediated 32 published articles encompassing 1,075 pages and 84 authors, including from Barbados, Bolivia, Cuba, New Caledonia, and Tunisia as well as the United States. We will be working systematically and steadily to remediate the previous nine years of articles to bring them into compliance. We hope to have the process completed before the end of 2026.
Article links followed by the word "Archived" signify that the articles do not yet meet accessibility standards but are currently being remediated. We appreciate your patience.
