Zoom Rooms

UC ANR Zoom Rooms are conference and quiet rooms equipped with monitors, speakers, cameras, and Zoom controllers for higher quality audio and video meetings.

Available Zoom Rooms

The following rooms are located at 2801 Second Street, Davis.

  • San Joaquin Valley Room — large meeting room
  • Sacramento Valley Room — large meeting room
  • Colorado Room — quiet room
  • Mojave Room — quiet room
  • Coast Room — downstairs
  • Bay Room — downstairs
  • Sierra Room — upstairs
  • Modoc Room — upstairs
  • Room 167 — quiet room
  • Room 151 — quiet room

Zoom Room Quick Start

  1. Turn on the TV or monitor using the TV remote. You will see a San Francisco skyline with the message "Tap Controller to Start." Do not press any other buttons on the remote — all other settings including volume are controlled through the Zoom Room Controller, not the TV remote.
  2. Tap the Zoom Room Controller screen to start.

From the controller you can:

  • Start a new meeting
  • Join a meeting
  • Share content from a laptop or mobile device
  • Add attendees from your Zoom contacts

Zoom Room Troubleshooting

  • No Signal screen — do not change any settings. Contact IT for help: email help@ucanr.edu or call (530) 750-1212.
  • Black screen — locate the TV remote, which may be velcroed to the back, bottom, or right side of the monitor, or on the desk. Press the red power button to turn on the TV or monitor.
  • Waiting for Pairing screen — the Zoom Controller is attempting to connect to the TV or monitor. Wait up to five minutes. If it has not connected, contact IT for help. Do not change any settings.
