Master Food Preserver Training Interest Form - Central Sierra

Volunteers of the UCCE Master Food Preserver Program educate community members about safe home food preservation. UCCE Central Sierra currently has two Master Food Preserver Programs, one in El Dorado County and the other serving both Amador and Calaveras counties. If you are interested in becoming an agent of the University of California as a certified UCCE Master Food Preserver Volunteer in either of these programs, please fill out this form to be added to our mailing list for the next Master Food Preserver Training. We will invite interested people to an orientation meeting that explains the Master Food Preserver Program, volunteer requirements, the application, interview process, and training.

If you have residence in another county please see the Find a UC Master Food Preserver Program website to find your nearest program. There are a limited number of counties with a Master Food Preserver program, but it is growing statewide. Contact your local UC Cooperative Extension Office to show your interest in starting a new program. Note that our volunteer work is done locally in El Dorado, Amador and Calaveras Counties.
