ANR Update

Dear ANR Community, As part of a directive from President Drake, UC ANR must achieve 100% compliance with the Cybersecurity Awareness Training. This is a critical initiative to protect our organization from potential security threats. Enforcement measures will begin on March 1, 2025.

Colleagues: As you may have seen in this morning's news, the Trump administration has rescinded the memo freezing federal funds. However, the White House has stated that it has not rescinded its pause on foreign aid; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs; and some clean energy funding.

Dear Colleagues: Recent announcements from the Office of the President of the United States regarding the temporary pause on federal grants, loans and other financial assistance programs that was to become effective at 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, President Drake will participate in his final UC systemwide town hall.

With wildfires burning in Southern California, we want to remind UC ANR staff employees of our Catastrophic Leave Program. Staff members may request leave time from this benefit.
