Climate change is real and it is changing rapidly in our lifetime. As Gardeners, we should be prepared to adapt to the new normal. Climate changes that affect us are: increase in temperatures; rising sea levels; extreme weather swings, droughts; and, wildfires.

Garden kneelers have made weeding, planting, and even pruning a much more comfortable experience. Whether you have arthritis or are just dealing with an uneven surface like bark or gravel, that extra layer of cushioning can make all the difference.

Hello fellow master gardeners. This is my debut blog for Under the Solano Sun, and I hope to write about common plants we may have or get asked about as Master Gardeners.

Recently my husband brought home a bee barn to aid in our quest for attracting pollinators to our garden. We are hoping that some bees will take up residency in this barn, but I am not sure what to expect.
