Yah, There's a Spider in My Rose Bush

As a Master Gardener, I hear all sorts of complaints about spiders in the garden; how these arachnids are eating plants, and how they are destroying the garden. To each of these complaints, I offer the same answers. Garden spiders do NOT eat plants, flowers, or vegetable crops.

Sunflower Summer

I had been looking for a way to both encourage a love for gardening, and to strengthen the bond with my long-distance bonus grandchildren in Oregon. I had given them gardening tools a year ago, and had recently found some cute animal shaped watering cans.
