Beta-development of a web-based decision-support toolkit ‘NutMan’ under control and deficit conditions, and iteratively testing to refine and validate models and tools.
The climate and phenology based yield model and nitrogen and water models from Activities 1 and 2 will be integrated with the calibrated remotely sensed and satellite imagery to create a software program 'NutMan.' This program will provide up-to-date, site specific management solutions for growers, allowing them to apply appropriate amounts of inputs to each tree in each orchard or vineyard at the appropriate time. |
