This program focuses on improving the efficiency of irrigation and nutrient management of vegetable and berry crops by creating new information and integrating technology to support management decisions. The economic and environmental sustainability of Ventura County’s agriculture are intrinsically dependent on efficient irrigation and nutrient management practices, and the University of California Cooperative Extension is committed to work with growers, the private sector, local and state agencies and the public to support the thriving of agriculture.
