Join us for a tour of the Monterey area, including stops at an agricultural site, world-famous 17 mile drive, and the beach, and will have lunch (graciously sponsored by VM Products) at a scenic golf course in the hills of Carmel-By-The-Sea. We'll be learning about rodent research related to food safety, birds in agricultural fields, protecting endangered plovers through predator management, sea otters, and more!

Symposium: New Frontiers in Managing Wild Pigs

This symposium brings together the latest science in the war on wild pigs, while also contextualizing emerging issues and threats to natural resources, agriculture, and animal and human health and safety posed by this invasive species

Symposium: Predator Management

This special symposium will welcome a broad range of research focuses, including aspects of predator biology that have implications for management of predators or ungulate populations, and lethal and nonlethal management in rural, urban, or suburban settings, among other topics.

Symposium: Management of Commensal Rodents

This symposium will welcome all aspects of commensal rodent management in multiple environments.

Symposium: Pest and Beneficial Bird Management

In this symposium we will discuss emerging issues and management of beneficial and pest birds, which is often complex given the diversity among avian taxa, laws and regulations, and the human dimensions associated with managing birds.
