Build the Skills That Make Our Digital Work Accessible to All (Siteimprove)
Lock on top of computer keyboard

Explore your full pathway to digital accessibility. UC ANR is working toward becoming a fully digitally accessible organization, and every small skill we build contributes to a more inclusive experience for our colleagues, partners, and the Californians we serve. Whether it’s structuring headings so screen readers can easily navigate content, avoiding blank lines that interrupt assistive technologies or writing meaningful alt text that communicates the purpose of images, these day-to-day practices help ensure our websites, forms, documents, presentations, videos and learning materials can be used by everyone. The good news? You don’t need to be a developer or designer to make an impact. UCOP has already invested in Siteimprove to support us — and the Accessibility Champion Learning Path provides clear, practical, self-paced modules aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards to help you build confidence and competence, no matter your role or skill level. By engaging with this training, you’ll not only help UC ANR meet upcoming compliance requirements, but also play a meaningful part in expanding equitable access across our digital work.
