Galdi moves to UCCE in Merced County Giuliano Galdi joined UC Cooperative Extension in Merced County on May 1 as an agronomy and crops advisor.

The University of California Board of Regents endorsed Senate Bill 28 (SB 28), the Public Preschool, K12, and College Health and Safety Bond Act of 2024, authored by State Sen. Steve Glazer (D-Orinda). If approved by the Legislature and signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, the bill would place a $15.

Two changes have occurred that require moving due dates for Project Board reporting, program review dossiers and academic annual evaluations from Feb. 1 to Dec. 8. This impacts all academic titles managed by UC ANR.

For the first time since 2018, UC ANR employees gathered for a statewide conference. More than 800 academics, staff, UC President's Advisory Commission members, volunteers and community members came together in Fresno from April 24 to 27 to share knowledge and network with colleagues.

Violini joins Government and Community Relations Sheron Violini joined UC ANR on April 6 as associate director of Government and Community Relations. Violini will help UC ANR members develop and nurture relationships with local government officials.
