The IT team has been receiving reports of recent phishing attempts. Phishing is a cybercrime in which bad actors attempt to access sensitive information through fraudulent messages that appear legitimate (such as "company emails").
If you receive the email that appears below, DO NOT CLICK on any of its links. Please report the phishing attempt by using the “Report” feature in Outlook.
As always, NEVER enter your credentials into unfamiliar websites. Only trust login pages that use ‘ucanr.edu’ or ‘ucdavis.edu’ in their web address. Be cautious of any site requesting credentials that does not include one of these domains.
