UC President Michael V. Drake, M.D., has sent a brief video message to the UC community acknowledging that many of us feel worried and unsettled about the fast-moving policy developments we are all facing.
In his message, Drake offers encouragement and says, “Your work is important; it matters. You matter. And together, we make a difference in our state, in our country and in our world.”
UC leaders are monitoring developments in Washington D.C. You can find current, relevant news on the UC Federal Updates site and join advocacy efforts through the UC Advocacy Network, which recently launched a campaign focused on NIH funding and biomedical research.
