The Black and Allied Employees (BAE) Resource Group invites you to celebrate 2025 Black History Month with UC President Michael Drake, M.D., at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb 28.

The University of California Office of the President invites employees to comment on proposed revisions to the three UC policies below. Presidential Policy A-60 - Short-Term Investment Pool (STIP)-Distribution of Income (Rescission) The policy is outdated and no longer reflects current practices.

UC President Michael V. Drake, M.D., has sent a brief video message to the UC community acknowledging that many of us feel worried and unsettled about the fast-moving policy developments we are all facing. In his message, Drake offers encouragement and says, Your work is important; it matters.

Dear Colleagues, It's with deep sadness that I share that we lost our colleague Steven Swain, environmental horticulture advisor for Marin and Sonoma counties, on Feb. 8. He was 58. Steven was with his family celebrating his wife's birthday in San Francisco when he collapsed.
