ANR Update

We are pleased to announce that - following an open call - Helen Dahlke is taking on the role of leader for the Water Strategic Initiative (officially known as the Water Quality, Quantity and Security SI).

The University of California Office of the President invites comments on a proposed Presidential Policy on University of California Research Data. This is the second systemwide review for this policy.

Reminder for early to mid-career level academics who would like funds to establish or expand a project, proposals are due Friday, Feb. 18. Thanks to the generosity of the Hrdy family, we are pleased to solicit a call for proposals to receive funding, beginning this current year.

Mask update don't throw those masks away just yet As reported in many media outlets, the CDPHs statewide mask order will expire on February 15, 2022. Some counties have also had local Public Health Orders that require all people to wear a mask indoors.

Two award opportunities are available this year through the Western Extension Directors Association (WEDA) and one from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
