ANR Update

Similar to previous years, ANR units including Research and Extension Centers, UCCE county offices and the Second Street Building in Davis will be closed from Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, through Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, except for essential services. ANR offices will reopen on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.

As you may have heard, President Drake issued an Executive Order on October 8 requiring all covered UC students, faculty, other academic appointees and staff to get vaccinated against influenza or opt out using a form supplied by their location.

Open enrollment will start Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at 8 a.m. and end Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at 5 p.m. UCPath will host several open enrollment webinars between Oct. 26 and Nov. 16.

The University of California Office of the President invites comments on a proposed Presidential Policy on Abusive Conduct/Bullying in the Workplace. The proposed policy covers abusive conduct/bullying and retaliation by and against members of the University community in the workplace.

UC ANR's hiring blitz continues! Thanks to the increased 2021-22 state funding, eight more UC Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Advisor positions are now released for recruitment. The recruitments are being staged to avoid overwhelming our Human Resources colleagues.
