UC Davis doctoral student Grace Horne's undergraduate thesis about the effects of the decline of ash trees on native caterpillars, scored the cover of the February edition of the journal Environmental Entomology.

Community ecologist Rachel Vannette, associate professor, UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology, is one of 13 faculty members selected as a Chancellor's Fellow, a five-year title. Each will receive $25,000 in unrestricted funds for research or other scholarly activities.

Doctoral candidate Christine Tabuloc of the laboratory of molecular geneticist and physiologist Joanna Chui, professor and vice chair of the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology, will present her exit seminar at 4:10 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15 in 122 Briggs Hall.
