Fungicide insensitivity to Bremia lactucae

The Michelmore lab at the University of California, Davis routinely monitors isolates of Bremia lactucae, the pathogen that causes lettuce downy mildew for their ability to overcome disease resistance genes and for insensitivity to fungicides.
