If you have apple or pear trees in your home orchard, you are no doubt familiar with codling moths. They're the moths that are responsible for wormy fruit, and unless you take steps to control these pests, they can destroy most of your apple or pear crop.

The Modesto Pollinator Festival is Coming! This free, family-friendly event happens Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the La Loma Native Garden in Modesto at 1805 Encina Way. There will be many opportunities to learn about pollinators, as well as fun activities for children.
