I love rainy days. . .I love the pitter-patter sound of it, the smell of wet dirt, and fresh air. Rain nourishes our gardens, turns into snow in the Sierra Mountains (which in turn eventually melts and flows into our rivers), and provides balm for our spirits.
Today is the final push to promote our campaign to raise funds for the Learning Landscape! Last year we raised a little over $2,000 for the project thanks to our generous donors. Now we'd like to add to that amount to fund two specific gardens.
Amid all the COVID-19 restrictions, the UCCE Master Gardeners of Stanislaus County have been hard at work bringing our Learning Landscape' to life at the Stanislaus County Agricultural Center, located at 3800 Cornucopia Way in Modesto.
On June 4, 2021 we are hosting #BigDigDay, 24-hours to show support to our program and help us raise funds for our Learning Landscape. Join us and #giveback to support the UC Master Gardener Program. Our goal is to raise $3,000 towards our future Learning Landscape theme gardens.
