Strawberries and Caneberries

I've spent the last few weeks poring over the archived Production Pink Sheets on the Strawberry Commission website. These are extremely valuable tranches of knowledge written in clear language by all the greats of whom we always hear.

In person meetings are definitely becoming a thing!! Research partner California Berry Cultivars (CBC) is holding a field day this coming May 3 and asked me to help in getting the word out.

Nice article this morning in the Wall Street Journal about the Oishii strawberry, grown indoors in New Jersey and making some waves in the retail markets out East.

All: See below, we are looking for someone to work with Central Coast growers on implementing on-farm technologies. More positions in entomology, forestry and youth to follow.
