2025 Incentive Programs Workshop on BirdReturns and More

We are thrilled to invite you to an event hosted by the Migratory Bird Conservation Partnership, where we will dive into conservation program opportunities available for growers like you. This is a chance to connect with key partners, including the California Ricelands Waterbird Foundation, California Waterfowl Association, The Nature Conservancy, and other organizations, to learn about the practices and how to get compensated for participating.

At his workshop, we'll share more details about the 2025 BirdReturns – Late Summer Farmlands Habitat program, which will begin accepting applications on February 24th. This program pays farmers and landowners in the Sacramento Valley and the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta for temporary shallow flooding of farm fields. For more details and to apply, you can visit us at the BirdReturns website.

Event details:

  • February 26th (Delta| Staten Island)
  • March 12th (Sacramento Valley | Yuba City)
Both sessions will run from 12:00–2:00pm

 Lunch will be provided!
