UCCE Master Gardeners of San Bernardino County

On September 28th, a group of eleven Master Gardeners from San Bernardino and Riverside Counties took a bus tour of Lamb Canyon Landfill in Beaumont.

This spring I was amazed at how much my garden rebounded after several years of drought and I bet you might have been too! It has been such a joy to see the many shades of green and all the spring blooms.

In my previous blog, I gave an overview of the first two days of COMPOST2023. The event, hosted by the The US Composting Council in January, was an outstanding learning and networking experience.

This month's spotlight is on UCCE San Bernardino County Master Gardener Donna Palmer. She has been a Master Gardener (MG) for a few years, joining during our first virtual class in 2021. She is a natural teacher and has taken on the role of being a MG like she had been doing it her whole life.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that COMPOST2023, billed as the world's largest composting event, was going to be held in Ontario, California in January.
