CropManage is a free online decision-support tool for water and nutrient management of vegetables, berries, agronomic, and tree crops. Based on research and field studies conducted by the University of California Cooperative Extension, CropManage provides real-time recommendations for efficient and timely irrigation and fertilization applications while maintaining or improving overall yield. At this free workshop, we will provide hands-on training so that you can learn to use the newest version of CropManage. Crops currently supported include many vegetables (carrots, cabbage, celery, broccoli, lettuce, tomato, spinach, etc.), berry crops (raspberry and strawberry), tree crops (almond, walnut, pistachio, prunes, and pear), and agronomic crops (alfalfa and corn). CropManage is also available in Spanish.

This workshop is limited to the first 30 registrants!
A new feature of this workshop is “drop-in” office hours for those already familiar with CropManage. If you prefer not to attend the full program but need advanced assistance or have specific questions, join us at 2:00 pm. We will be ready to help answer your questions and explore advanced topics.

Free Water and Nitrogen Management Program Training
SSJV Water Quality Coalitions are excited to offer a FREE 2-day training event through their joint management practices evaluation program (SSJV MPEP). The training will be held in January 2025 at three convenient locations: Bakersfield, Parlier, and Tulare.
This training is designed to equip growers and their advisors with crop-specific information about irrigation efficiency, nutrient management, and the critical relationship between water and nitrogen. Attendees will learn how to use water and nitrogen efficiently to conserve and protect groundwater resources while farming productively.
Jan 27-28 Bakersfield - Kern Ag Pavilion
Jan 28-29 Parlier - UC Kearney Ag Center
Jan 29-30 Tulare - SCE Energy Education Center
Day 1 is a full day event (8:30-4:00) that features expert presentations from UC Farm Advisors, covering the latest research and recommendations, and includes free lunch!
Day 2 is a half day event (8:30-12:00) that offers hands-on practice with CropManage, UCCE's free decision-support tool, to help optimize irrigation and nutrient decisions tailored to your crops.

ILRP Coalition Members can earn 3 CE Hours for INMP Self-Certification and Certified Crop Advisors can earn up to 7.5 CEU Credits.
