Worm Composting & DIY Worm Bin Build

At this workshop, Master Composters will teach the art of composting with worms, then how to apply the resulting material in your landscape or garden, as well as, provide you with plenty of resources on how to get started such as where to get worms and the possibility of receiving a composting system at a discounted rate. There is also a DIY Worm Bin build if you would rather Do It Yourself.  A materials list will be emailed the week prior, and is listed below.

This event is outdoor, so please dress appropriately. Close-toed shoes are required.  It will follow Santa Clara County Public Health Orders and social distancing protocols. For more information please visit, guidance for face coverings (ca.gov)

For the Worm Bin Build, you'll need a container that:
1. Has a secure lid
2. Is opaque (not transparent/clear)
3. Is made of durable plastic or untreated wood
4. Is between 3 and 20 gallons
