About the Event
This webinar will focus on organic production fundamentals in a changing climate. Last year, I conducted a Needs Assessment where I asked commercial orchard and vegetable growers in our region about their key needs related to field topics that support crop production. Based on growers' top needs and priorities, in this webinar we will cover:
- Organic Integrated Pest Management (IPM) & How to Write an IPM Plan with Dr. Cindy Kron (UCCE)
- Organic Nitrogen Management with Dr. Patricia Lazicki and Dr. Margaret Lloyd (UCCE)
- Irrigation Management in a Changing Climate with Evie Smith, Small Farms Advisor with Oregon State Extension
Audience: commercial orchard and vegetable growers; Master Gardeners who would like to learn about these topics at the production scale.
