Dairy

provides education, applied research, and outreach to help Sonoma County dairies continue to be innovative, sustainable, and in the business of dairy
 

Fire Science

resources for fire preparedness for homeowners, agriculture, and landowners, post-fire recovery, prescribed burns, and fire science
 

Forestry

keep oak and conifer forests and the habitat they provide healthy and productive
 

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

works with the agricultural industry in the research and implementation of alternative pest control methods, in order to decrease the use of pesticides

 

Livestock & Range Management

works with ranchers and producers, addressing such topics as animal health and welfare, marketing, and the management of range and natural resources
 

Master Food Preservers

educate the community on the safe practices of home food preservation, including pickling, canning, dehydrating and much more
 

Master Gardeners

extend research-based knowledge and information on home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscape practices to residents of the State of California and, in our case, Sonoma County
 

Specialty Crops

promote commercial specialty crop production and the expansion of growers’ contributions as foundational members of our local food system
