Learn how to safely prepare, freeze, and dehydrate fresh strawberries to enjoy their sweet flavor long after the season ends. This session will cover best practices for handling and storing berries to preserve quality and reduce waste.

Join us to learn about how to make kombucha, a refreshing drink made from fermenting tea. We’ll teach you how to maintain a healthy SCOBY (a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) to make kombucha, and how to do a second fermentation flavored with various fruits.

The UCCE Master Gardeners-Yolo and the Yolo Library Workshop will hold its regular semi-monthly Gardening Workshops in March on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. It is free and open to the public.
