Achievement Program

spark

The Achievement Program gives you incentives to find and use your Spark to make a positive difference in the world.

The Record Book and Achievement Program are optional and separate programs.

We highly recommend you take advantage of both programs to maximize your growth and learning in 4-H!

The Achievement Program has 4 levels:

  • iSprout Achievements - for Primary members (ages 5-8)
  • Spark Achievements - for new members & Junior members (ages 9-10)
  • Emerald Star I & II - for Intermediate members (ages 11-13)
  • Impact Star - for Senior members (ages 14-18)

The levels work together to empower youth by helping them form meaningful youth-adult partnerships, identify what inspires them, set goals, and work towards purposeful and informed change.

The Achievement Program Manual outlines how to transition to the program, goals for each progression level, and how to earn achievement awards.

The Achievement Program overview has report forms for each achievement level.

For the 2024-2025 program year:

  • New members, Primary members and Junior members: start in the Achievement Program
  • Intermediate members and Senior members who have previously earned at least a Silver Star in the Star Rank Program can either:
    • Continue in the Star Rank Program to finish with a Platinum Star, or
