Welcome Back to 4-H!
Thank you for your continued support as a 4-H adult volunteer--you are an asset to the 4-H Youth Development Program, and we look forward to working with you again! You play an important role in the development of young people, helping them to identify their spark and develop the skills and positive outcomes that lead to thriving. Complete the steps below to be reappointed as a 4-H volunteer.
Step 1: Submit Online Enrollment in ZSuite
The first step to continuing your role as a 4-H adult volunteer is to submit your 2026-2027 application online using ZSuite.
You will be asked to choose a Primary Unit. This is the club that you have chosen to be your 4-H home base. Select one for now, you can always change it later.
Adult Volunteers do not need to add a project. If you are going to be a project leader, your project will be added to ZSuite once your membership is made active and your Annual Project Plan has been submitted to the 4-H Office. Projects can be added at any time.
Once you click submit you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received and is waiting for approval.
Step 2: Pay $30 Annual Enrollment Fee*
Online: Card payments can only be accepted online with a non-refundable transaction fee of 4%. The total cost is $31.25. ($30 enrollment fee + $1.25 transaction fee)
Mail: Make checks payable to "UC Regents" and send to: UCCE Central Sierra 4-H YDP, 311 Fair Lane, Placerville, CA 95667
In-Person: Cash and check payments can be accepted at your county 4-H office.
* 2026-2027 enrollment fees are subsidized for adult volunteers in Tuolumne County
Step 3: Complete Online Training
Returning adult volunteers must complete an annual refresher course. The course is designed to remind volunteers about the mission of California 4-H and to cover materials mandated by the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA).

Step 4: RSVP for a Project Leader Kick-Off Event (For Project Leaders Only)
This is the third year that staff in the Central Sierra are hosting kick-off events for volunteers in their county. If you’re a project or club leader in Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, or Tuolumne counties we cordially invite you to one of these events! There will be one hosted in each county, but if you can’t make that date, you’re more than welcome to come to another county. The goal of these events is to 1) provide continuing education for our volunteers so they are prepared to work with youth in their communities, 2) help volunteers navigate the administrative load of being a volunteer by going over project plans and doing training as a group versus individually online, and 3) provide lunch as a symbol of appreciation to the amazing time and effort our volunteers put in by leading projects.

Step 5: Submit a Project Plan (For Project Leaders Only)
If you are a 4-H Project Leader, your last step is to submit a project plan for each project that you will be leading. Once your project plan has been approved, your project will be added to ZSuite for members to join.
Enrollment Completion
After your county 4-H office reviews the enrollment, you will receive an email sent to your Family email account to confirm your enrollment status as Active. Once your enrollment is active, you may begin 4-H activities! You may access your 4-H profile at any time of the year to change what projects you are involved in, update your health information, etc. Note: The lead project leader must complete enrollment before their project will be made available to members.
