Winter and Spring Fruit Tree Care - San Martin

Learn what to do in winter and spring to keep your deciduous fruit trees healthy. Tips on selecting and planting new trees will also be covered. Some very basic principles of pruning with pictures will be shown. Common diseases and insect pests, as well as control measures for them, will also be discussed. Enjoy growing and harvesting your own fruit! After the presentation, weather permitting, fruit tree pruning demonstrations will be held at the Master Gardener South County Teaching and Demonstration Garden across from the Animal Shelter.
