Ask-A-Master Gardener and Tool Sharpening: Clairemont Outdoor Living & Garden Tour
Venue
St. David's Church
5050 Milton St.
San Diego, CA 92110
United States
Bring your garden questions and the UC Master Gardeners will help provide science-based answers.
Our Tool Care Team from the UC Master Gardeners of San Diego County will be at our event to clean and sharpen one pair of pruners or loppers per person. Pruners or loppers must be in reasonable working condition (limited rust, operational, no divots or bent blades). Because of time constraints we will sharpen only 2-inch blades or smaller - no hedge shears or serrated edges.
This family-friendly tour, now in its 29th year, includes gardens of all sizes. Tour over a dozen properties in Clairemont and Bay Park, in 5 walkable neighborhoods. Don't miss the Expo at St. David's Church. Attend a lecture on a garden specialty, talk to the Master Gardeners and see demonstrations of tool care and sharpening, listen to live music and enjoy tacos and drinks for purchase. Visit garden-related and community booths for additional valuable information about programs in Clairemont. Seed giveaways, garden books for sale, and more! Tickets on sale April 1 for the same low price as last year, $20. www.clairemontonline.com
