10 a.m. to noon - Grow Your Garden, where you can swap succulents, seeds, fruit, vegetables and herbs from your garden with your neighbors.

10:30 to 11:30 a.m. - Workshop, where you can learn new gardening techniques.

Free Sharpening: The UC Master Gardeners of San Diego County’s Tool Care committee will also be available to sharpen, for free, one pruner or lopper per gardener. Pruners or loppers must be in reasonable working condition (limited rust, operational, no divots or bent blades). Because of time constraints we will sharpen only 2-inch blades or smaller - no hedge shears or serrated edges.

About the Event

Dr. David Boucher, UC Master Gardener of San Diego County, will cover essential techniques for cultivating the perfect tomato. Learn about soil conditions, watering needs, and how to ensure your tomatoes are thriving. This session will prepare you to achieve a bountiful and tasty harvest! Dr. David Boucher has gardened organically and successfully in San Diego for over forty years. He is a member of the San Diego Horticultural Society and in 2021, his home was featured on the San Diego Floral Association Garden Tour.
