About the Event

Sometimes we think of the winter as a time to take a break from working outside in our gardens, but it can be the busiest time for those of us with dormant fruit trees. Come join us at the Guadalupe River Park Historic Orchard for a brief class and then a chance to practice dormant pruning. We'll look at different kinds of trees at different stages of growth and how to prune them for a good fruit harvest.

Please wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves, clippers and loppers if you have them.

Heavy rain cancels.

The nearest parking is on Seymour (near the corner of Walnut), or you can park at the Rotary Play Garden (on Coleman) and walk in.

Please arrive early so you can park and walk into the orchard.
