Food and Nutrition projects are very popular in 4-H! Learn how to choose healthy foods, get a better understanding of what your body needs to stay healthy, and gain cooking skills. We also have projects that you can join as a Teen as Teacher - leading a cooking lesson with younger youth. 

Fitness & Health

4-H fitness projects help you understand the importance of being active within a safe environment. Mastering basic health principles places you on the right track to developing healthy habits now and in the long-term.

Safety

Safety projects include learning how to prepare for emergencies, first aid, and school wellness.

Social & Emotional Health

4-H’s Healthy Living projects provide you with a better understanding of how your choices can help yourself, your family, and your communities. 4-H helps build a firm foundation that encourages good decision-making and strong interpersonal skills. Social-emotional health is the cornerstone to confident, caring young leaders who understand how to take care of their minds and inner being, which is key to holistic well-being.
