Principles of Community
Our refreshed Principles of Community are a foundation for our continued cultivation of how our work together supports our shared goals to achieve the MISSION of UC ANR. (Original August 2016, Refreshed approved December 2024)
Co-Created by Our Community
Over 18 months, more than 23 units and county offices, EDI leaders, and over 90 survey participants came together to refresh these guiding principles. This collaborative process reflects the shared values and vision of our diverse UC ANR community.
A Foundation for Belonging and Innovation
Rooted in collaboration, respect, trust, and inclusiveness, these principles are designed to cultivate a culture where everyone feels valued, empowered, and united in purpose. They emphasize transparency, integrity, and creating safe, supportive environments across all ANR locations.
