Social Media Contest Rules

Contest Rules: Contest is open to all California residents, including ANR staff, advisors and specialists. There will be a winner each day. Winners will be selected based on which post has the most “likes.” In a case of a tie, a judge will be designated to pick the winner. Winners will be notified via Facebook. No cash value will be given in lieu of the prizes listed. Shipping will be limited to California. No purchase is necessary to participate. Each contest will close at 10 p.m. (Pacific Time).

December 1

Healthy Holiday MyPlate picture contest. Post a picture of your version of the healthy holiday my plate.

One (1) winner will get to choose $40 worth of ANR publications from the ANR catalog.

December 2

With all of the holiday festivities, eating healthy is always a challenge. Do you have tips for eating and staying healthy during the holidays?

One (1) winner will receive the Creating Healthy Families DVD bundle, a mini recipe book and calendar with recipes, and a bottle of olive oil.

December 3

Naughty or nice? Tell us your best parenting tips that keep your kids off Santa’s naughty list.

One (1) winner will receive the Parent Express Newsletter set, Toddler Express and Healthy, Happy Family set, and a set of the Let’s Get Moving Activity Cards.

December 4

Sometimes the best gifts are the homemade ones. What kind of homemade gifts do you give during the holidays?

One (1) winner will receive the Home Orchard: Growing your own Deciduous Fruit and Nut Trees (e-book or hardcopy is available), and Integrated Pest Management for Stone Fruit.
